IFPRA has established two worldwide Regions, Asia Pacific and Europe

IFPRA Asia / Pacific

IFPRA Asia Pacific is one of two regional groupings of the Federation. The Region extends from Saudi Arabia to Hawaii and from China to New Zealand, currently there are 165 members, some are affiliate or corporate members that have up to 20,000 staff emplyed in the Park and Recreation Industry. Member countries, through their professional organisations, elect a representative for IFPRA who is then known as a Commissioner. The Commissioners meet on a regular basis and elect office bearers for a three (3) year term. The Principal officers are:

A Regional Congress is held every 3 years. Past Congresses have been held in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, China and Singapore, with a future events scheduled for New Zealand in 2008 and Cairns Queensland in 2011.

Expressions of interest are now invited for the hosting of the 2014 IFPRA Asia Pacific Congress. For more information please contact IFPRA Asia Pacific Secretary Mr. John Brandenburg.

The Region produced a newsletter, known as the Circular. Twenty Six (26) issues were published (see "Publications"). Other newsletters for members are now sent as required. For information on current regional newsletters, please contact:
